October 7th ❌ May 1948✔
Contrary to the narrative pushed by many mainstream and heavily influenced media outlets, the reality of the Palestinian struggle did not begin on October 7th. This framing is not only historically inaccurate, but also part of a wider effort to psychologically condition the public — reducing a decades-long occupation, resistance, and suffering into a single day of events, taken out of context.
Such manipulative narratives serve to erase the lived experience of millions of Palestinians, ignoring over 75 years of dispossession, ethnic cleansing, systemic apartheid, and military aggression. When media institutions selectively report facts, omit historical context, and frame resistance as unprovoked violence, they dehumanise the victims and legitimise the oppressors.
As members of the public, we must assert our right to the full truth — not a curated version designed to maintain power structures and public apathy. Seeking this truth is not optional; it is a moral obligation. It requires us to expend all available resources, challenge dominant narratives, engage in rigorous due diligence, and actively listen to those whose voices have been silenced for too long.
Justice begins with knowledge. And knowledge begins with unfiltered truth — even when it is uncomfortable, politically inconvenient, or challenges long-held assumptions.

Petition to make Nakba part of the curriculum
In light of the recent escalation in Gaza, many have been forced to confront the ongoing dehumanisation of Palestinians and the deep-rooted injustices they face. This tragic reality has underscored the urgent need for greater historical awareness and educational reform. This proposal advocates for the inclusion of the Nakba—the mass displacement of Palestinians in 1948—into the UK national curriculum. It is believed that teaching this critical chapter of history will help foster empathy, promote understanding, and challenge the widespread misconceptions that continue to fuel Islamophobia, anti-Arab sentiment, and the marginalisation of Palestinians

Petition to Impose Sanctions on Israel
In light of Israel’s continued military actions in Palestine and Lebanon, and the rising number of civilian casualties, we propose that the UK government impose higher tariffs on goods imported from Israel.
This peaceful economic measure would serve as a form of pressure, urging Israel to comply with international law and human rights standards. It reflects the growing public concern in the UK and globally, and would send a clear message: the UK will not support or reward a state engaged in ongoing violations of international law.
